Managing Principal

Jennifer Mote is founder of Thirst Matters, a consultancy dedicating to making organizations and leadership teams more effective, diverse and inclusive, equitable, strengths based, conversationally intelligent, and trauma-informed. In short powerfully HUMAN.

A fortune 50, hi-tech and non-profit human resources executive and expert in human behavior and performance, Jennifer is an organizational design and leadership expert. She is an experienced talent strategist, HR executive, public speaker, trainer and culture champion. She has expertise in implementing best practices that increase IDEA outcomes, managerial competence and organizational outcomes

Jennifer is certified as an instructor with the Cultural Intelligence Center and Korn-Ferry/Lominger International. She is certified in Cultural Intelligence, Leadership Architect Competencies, Strong Manager & Simply Strengths, Trauma-Informed Leadership, and Unconscious Bias.

She received her Spiritual Direction certification through North Park Theological Seminary. Jennifer also completed Level I, Level II and the Externship Level coaching certification in Narrative Focused Trauma Care through the Seattle School of Theology and Psychology which she weaves into her innovative approached to leadership development and organizational health.

Jennifer holds a B.A. in Psychology and a Minor in Women’s Studies from Indiana University.
